MANAGER, FINANCE

Description

This role responsible to monitor the daily operations of Finance Department.

Tasks & Responsibilities

  • Accountable for the full spectrum of the finance and accounting related functions.
  • Ensure all finance and accounting activities are performed in the most effective and efficient manner.
  • Timely preparation of the Group’s monthly Consolidated Financial Statements.
  • Timely preparation of Quarterly Announcement for regulatory reporting in compliance with listing requirement and any other regulatory bodies.
  • Review monthly, quarterly and yearly financial statements for appropriateness and to provide the Management with robust information for sound decision-making.
  • Liaise with financial institutions on funding, borrowing costs, treasury management and other relevant matters.
  • Preparation, including coordinating with relevant departments for input/discussions in formulating budget, in line with the Group’s overall strategies and targets.
  • Ensure timely submission and payment of GST for the Group.
  • Review tax estimation and ensure payments are made timely.
  • To carry out tax planning for the Group and compliance with Transfer Pricing guidelines. 
  • Oversee all financial and accounting system controls and standards for the Group.
  • Coordinate and report on ISO matters of the department.
  • Develop, review and recommend improvement to accounting and financial information systems on an on-going basis.
  • Ensure, maintain and enforce a proper supervisory programme and competent system of internal controls.
  • Liaise with financial institutions, auditors, lawyers, tax agents and other external parties including regulatory bodies on the Group’s financing and other accounting related matters. 16. Coordinating and oversee the overall conduct of audit exercise and liaise with internal and external auditors for completion of audits.
  • Update with the latest applicable accounting standards and other developments in accounting.
  • To carry out any other duties as and when instructed by the Management from time to time.

  • To produce timely and accurate reporting of your business or operational activities to your superior(s).
  • To formulate and execute clear strategies to run the business or operations under your care to achieve the objectives set by your superior(s).
  • To ensure that you have a clear and accurate understanding of the industry you are operating in, including operational challenges, trends affecting your industry and accurate competitor analysis.

Education

Degree in accounting or related Professional bodies

Experience

Min 3 years of working experience in property industry
