• Responsible for facilities engineering which include initiating, planning, designing and directing projects related to plant facilities to meet growth requirements and improve the efficiency and economy of operations.

Tasks & Responsibilities

  • Establish and update preventive maintenance programs in accordance with latest ISO 9001 requirements and monitor the implementation.
  • Plan and co-ordinate the implementation of new projects in a timely manner to facilitate the production functions.
  • Leading the department in design and fabrication of machine facilities to ensure that they are safe, operational and cost effective.
  • Organize and co-ordinate plant and machinery‚Äôs installation and ensure compliance to all relevant regulations and prepare for commissioning.
  • Review technician performance, machine performance, dies and nipple, forklift and sweeper daily checklist and highlight discrepancies for remedial action.
  • Regularly review spare parts purchasing requirements and ensure orders are made in the most effective manners and within budgetary requirements.
  • Participate in meetings to troubleshoot factory facilities problems and review sales of scrap iron.
  • Plan manpower requirements, direct, control, motivate and train subordinates.
  • Assure the reliable and cost effective operation of the various utilities.



Must possess at least Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.


At least 5 years working experience in related field.
